You choose to go to a place on your extended summer vacation solely because
the area boasts more than 100 letterboxes. And even though you've been there
B.L. (before letterboxing) and didn't find it that exciting, you KNOW you'll
LOVE it this time!

You know that you're addicted to letterboxing when...you no longer need
to be on a set meal/sleep schedule that normally keeps you joyful, but
instead letterbox at all hours of the day or night missing sleep and
meals and not being grumpy at all.

I think are smart just don't seem to understand what you are doing. They
